The 70-D3B-2 RAIL is an end-to-end seaming sewing machine from Merrow, specially built for the continuous processing of fabric on semi-automated, or fully-automated equipment.

The Merrow Model 70-D3B-2 RAIL industrial sewing machine is derived from the industry standard Merrow 70-D3B-2 sewing machine for the endwise joining of piece goods. The 70-D3B-2 RAIL is a single thread machine with cutters that is produces a strong, flat, 5/8” stitch on a wide range of fabric.
Railway operations create straighter more consistent seams across wide fabrics. The Merrow 70-D3B-2 RAIL when paired with a American or European Railway reduces spare parts consumption (fewer broken needles, needle carriers) and improves the quality of the seaming process.
The Merrow 70-D3B-2 RAIL has an Adapted Design for pro-active feeding..the Merrow RAIL sewing head is designed to be pushed across the fabric by the railway (as opposed to pulling the fabric through on its own feed system).
